This is a 14th century cloistered monastery now owned by the University of Siena and converted exclusively for conference use. The Certosa's website at http://www.unisi.it/servizi/certosa/ which includes photographs and directions. It can accommodate about 90 visitors. The hamlet of Pontignano is situated in the countryside about 10km north of the beautiful medieval city of Siena. It is an ideal base from which to explore Tuscany. Florence is some 45 minutes away by car. Workshop Goals and FormatHigh temperature gas loading is a promising technology to reliably create thermal and nuclear anomalies. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together an international group of experts to present their results and encourage discussion. The emphasis is on experimental innovation, methods, instrumentation and diagnostics. Fees and AccommodationThe workshop fee is €400 per person which also covers the lunches, dinners shown in the outline program. Requests will be considered for financial assistance for those needing further support. As accommodation is limited, participation will only be accepted at the sponsors' discretion - mainly limited to authors of relevant papers. It is essential that all applicants submit a 1 page Abstract in MS Word format. PresentationsThe program consisted of both invited and contributed talks of 30 minutes. The Coolessence paper,"Deuterium & hydrogen loading into nano-Pd on zeolite and alumina matrices at low pressures", presented orally and as a poster, received an absolute majoity of votes and Olga Dmitreyeva, as oral presenter, was presented the ISCMNS bronze medal for "Best Poster Paper" during the banquet. Papers may also be submitted to the electronic journal Condensed Matter Nuclear Science and peer reviewed.
