By Plane: Rome Fiumicino airport is an intercontinental hub about 120 minutes drive away. We may be able to suggest a shuttle service by bus taking you directly to the hotel if you inform us of your flight times. Workshop Goals and Format
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together international experts to present their results and encourage discussion. The emphasis is on experimental innovation, methods, instrumentation, diagnostics and theory. In addition there may be discussion on topics of interest including explanations for the anomalies.
The General Assembly of the European H2020 Project "Clean Energy from Hydrogen-Metal Systems (CleanHME)" will take place on 25th September (by invitation only), but the scientific aspects of the project will be included during the three remaining days, and, if needed, within dedicated sessions.
The working language of the workshop is English.
Participants are invited to arrive in time for either dinner on Saturday 24th or for the Welcome Reception on the evening of Sunday 25th.
Fees and Accommodation
The early registration workshop fee was EUR 550 per single resident participant and EUR 250 for the second person sharing a room or a non-resident participant. The inclusive fee covers lunch and dinner and coffee breaks shown in the outline program, accommodation. Breakfast is included for hotel residents. Requests will be considered for financial assistance. Accommodation at the conference site may be available outside the designated nights at additional cost (pro rata).
Participants may cancel without penalty by giving at least 5 weeks notice. Similarly if the workshop is cancelled for any reason, including Covid, a full refund will be made.
Papers
The program will consist of both invited and contributed talks. Oral papers are invited on experimental and theoretical results and will be reviewed. It is essential that all presenters submit a 1 page Abstract in MS Word format (A4 paper size) (see Important Dates below). Authors should estimate 30 minutes for each presentation but variations on this time (e.g. 1 hour) can be made by arrangement. Power Point presentations are preferred. Slides should be numbered in order to facilitate questions.
All presentations and papers should have numbered pages and the filename should start with the presenter's surname (Further instructions in the program which will follow). The organization may also compress your submission into portable document format (.pdf) for publication on the ISCMNS web-site and will be freely available for download. Presentations will not be published on-line until November and may be modified or withdrawn by the authors at any time.
Papers may also be submitted to the ISCMNS electronic journal Condensed Matter Nuclear Science and peer reviewed.
